What We Do

Network Recycling undertake all aspects of event waste management with sustainable resource management being at the core of our service.

We have a long history of working in event’s waste management and have learnt how to keep your event clean and in the process minimise its environmental impact.

There is no generic template for providing effective waste management at an event. Every event is different and any event will provide unique challenges.

However there are four basic rules that we recognize in order to tackle an event’s waste management successfully;

Cleanliness is paramount
To manage waste effectively at an event, an event site must look clean.
We strive to minimise ground litter in all situations and empty recycling and litter points on a regular basis.
Our constant diligence in this area has earned us praise from environmental health inspectors on many occasions.

Efficiency is everything
We know that the organisers of an event are highly pressurised.
As contactors we want to solve problems for the organisers and not create them.
We aim to work as a team with everyone working on the event and also provide a reliable behind the scenes service, which will enable the event organisers to have peace of mind during the event

Safety is critical
Strict adherence to Health and safety is essential for the safety of everyone that attends and works at an event.
We have a NEBOSH trained health and safety advisor.

Recycling works
Through experience we know how to achieve and boost recycling rates in an event environment. This is the central aim of what we do.
For recycling to be successful at an event, experience has taught us that the recycling has to be genuinely integrated into all aspects of waste management. Therefore, for us to achieve the highest recycling rate possible we ideally need to manage all aspects of waste on site.

Our Services

We offer event organizers a range of services and our extensive experience means that we can tailor a service to meet the needs of your particular event and budget.

We are usually contracted for all waste management on site and sub-contact services where required but we are also happy to work alongside other waste contractors.

Some of the services we provide are:

Provision and servicing of recycling points for litter control and the separation of recyclables
We use our own design alterations to standard 240 litre wheeled bins to help us achieve efficient recycling separation and minimization of ground litter.

Earth Cycle - A low impact method of dealing with food / drink disposables and food waste
We work with event organisers and traders to ensure all disposables vended on site are biodegradable. We then facilitate the separation of food service disposables and food waste which gets turned into agricultural compost by ABPR licensed facilities.

Street cleansing operations
Many events occur on hard standing surfaces where we can efficiently separate dry recyclables before using standard street cleansing techniques. Grass surface litter clearance is carried out both by hand picking and mechanised sweepers

Trade and Exhibitor recycling systems
Arrangement and provision of residual waste containment and disposal systems. We can supply a range of containment systems from 240 litre wheeled bins through to 1100 litre trade waste bins and a range of compacting and non-compacting skips. We can arrange or supply a variety of waste collection solutions and commonly supply and crew our own refuse collection vehicles.

Grey water containment and disposal
